Why Do Lake Forest Park Vehicles End Up Needing Auto Body & Paint?

Bothell Way and Ballinger Way carry the traffic and the rear-end collisions. The hilly, tree-lined residential streets with narrow driveways account for the scraped bumpers, bent mirrors and backing dents. Volvos, Subarus, Priuses and family SUVs, many of them kept for a long time and worth repairing properly.

About Auto Paint
Auto Paint & Refinishing at L-M Body Shop in Kirkland

How Does Auto Body & Paint Work for Lake Forest Park Customers?

Auto body and paint work at L-M Body Shop covers scratches, chips, scuffed and cracked bumpers, dented panels and full refinishing. Damage is repaired properly first, then color is mixed to your factory code, test sprayed, blended into the adjacent panels and clear-coated in our paint booth so the repair disappears. Light scratches that have not broken the clear coat can sometimes be polished out. Deeper scratches and chips get a spot repair and blend. Panels with cracked paint or widespread clear coat failure get a full refinish. We tell you which one you need and what each costs.

L-M Body Shop is family owned, women led, BBB A+ rated and a Best of Kirkland Business Hall of Fame shop. Lake Forest Park customers who find us once tend to stay with us.

Our auto body and paint work customers come from Town Center, Sheridan Beach, Horizon View, Lake Forest Park Civic Club, Brookside and the rest of Lake Forest Park. Lake Forest Park is about fifteen minutes from the shop via SR-522 and Juanita Drive or I-405 to NE 124th.

INSURANCE COMPANIES WE WORK WITH

every major carrier, plus Direct Repair for The Hartford

Collision happens, you call your insurance company, and then you call us. We work with every carrier below and many more, and we have handled claims from this same Totem Lake building since 1987. Don't see yours? Call (425) 821-8074, we almost certainly work with them too.

Also USAA, PEMCO, The Hartford, Mutual of Enumclaw, Esurance and any other carrier that writes auto policies in Washington.

You choose the body shop. Not your insurance company.

After a collision the first call is usually to the insurance company, and the adjuster may steer you toward a "preferred" or "network" shop. In Washington the choice of repair shop is yours. Your insurer cannot require you to use a particular shop, and it still has to pay for a proper repair at the shop you pick.

  • Network shops have agreements with the insurer. The agreement is with them, not with you.
  • Tell the adjuster: "I am taking it to L-M Body Shop in Kirkland." That is all it takes.
  • We send our estimate and photos to the adjuster, handle the supplement for hidden damage, and bill the insurer directly. You only pay your deductible.

Great service and great people. I had passenger side door's panel came off due to a little accident. I reached out to multiple body shop but LM body shop struck great impression in my mind. In the first interaction I knew that they're genuine and not trying to scam you. One of the part from the panel seems to be reusable and advised me to buy part by myself, so I can return if they don't ended up using it while repairing. And they didn't use it and saved me $500. Other bodyshops that I went, they never offered me this option and asked me to replace good part as well. In addition to that I didn't have to take the appointments for the quote, like I had to for the other places. They gave me quote promptly and squeezed the repair in their schedule as soon as the part arrived. I would definitely recommend this body shop to my friends and family.

Lorri and her team were amazing. This was my first time dealing with collision repairs and an insurance claim after someone damaged my rear bumper, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. They took the time to answer my questions, explain the process, and made everything feel much less stressful. Lorri was calm, kind, and incredibly easy to communicate with from start to finish. Her customer service really stood out and made a difficult situation so much easier to navigate. Highly recommend for quality repairs and excellent customer service.

I can't say enough good things about L-M Body Shop. I brought my brand-new Lexus in for a scratch, and Lorri took the time to try the least invasive solution before recommending a repair. The result exceeded my expectations, and I truly appreciated the honesty and care. It's refreshing to find a shop that genuinely looks out for its customers. Thank you again, Lorri!

AUTO BODY & PAINT IN LAKE FOREST PARK

questions from Lake Forest Park drivers

Will the paint match the rest of my car?

Yes. We mix to the factory paint code, test spray, compare under daylight-balanced light and blend the color into adjacent panels so there is no visible transition.

How long does paint work take for Lake Forest Park customers?

A spot repair or single panel is usually two to four days including cure time. Multi-panel and full repaints take longer, and we give you the schedule with the estimate.

Is it worth fixing a small scratch?

If it has gone through to bare metal, yes, before the Pacific Northwest rain turns it into rust. If it is only in the clear coat we may be able to polish it, and we will tell you so.
