Serving Finn Hill from Totem Lake, Kirkland
Finn Hill sits above Juanita on winding, tree-lined roads, and the mix of older ramblers and newer view homes means a steady run of commuter cars and family SUVs that need body work. A key scratch, a scraped bumper or a hood full of rock chips does not need an insurance claim or a week in the shop. L-M Body Shop does auto body and paint work for Finn Hill drivers with a free written estimate and computer-matched color.

Juanita Drive NE, Holmes Point Drive and the roads through Big Finn Hill Park are narrow, shaded and slick in the rain. Side swipes with mailboxes and guardrails, deer strikes near O.O. Denny Park and backing into trees on steep driveways are typical Finn Hill repairs. Subarus, Volvos, Toyotas and a lot of all-wheel-drive crossovers chosen for the hills, plus the occasional classic kept in a garage up here.
About Auto Paint
Auto body and paint work at L-M Body Shop covers scratches, chips, scuffed and cracked bumpers, dented panels and full refinishing. Damage is repaired properly first, then color is mixed to your factory code, test sprayed, blended into the adjacent panels and clear-coated in our paint booth so the repair disappears. For Finn Hill customers the process is straightforward: a free look at the damage, a written estimate that separates repair from refinish, the body work, priming and block sanding, then color matched to your paint code, blended and clear-coated in the booth. Two to four days for most single-panel jobs.
Every refinished car is inspected under daylight-balanced light, washed and vacuumed before pickup, and we touch up small future scratches at no additional cost to you.
Our auto body and paint work customers come from Holmes Point, Big Finn Hill Park, O.O. Denny Park, Juanita Drive, Inglewood and the rest of Finn Hill. Finn Hill is about ten minutes from the shop: down Juanita Drive and east on NE 124th to Totem Lake.

After a collision the first call is usually to the insurance company, and the adjuster may steer you toward a "preferred" or "network" shop. In Washington the choice of repair shop is yours. Your insurer cannot require you to use a particular shop, and it still has to pay for a proper repair at the shop you pick.
Walk in Monday through Friday 7:30 to 5, or send photos through the online estimate form. You get a written estimate, free, with no appointment needed.
Using insurance? We open or update the claim with you, send our estimate and photos to the adjuster and remind them that you chose the shop.

Great service and great people. I had passenger side door's panel came off due to a little accident. I reached out to multiple body shop but LM body shop struck great impression in my mind. In the first interaction I knew that they're genuine and not trying to scam you. One of the part from the panel seems to be reusable and advised me to buy part by myself, so I can return if they don't ended up using it while repairing. And they didn't use it and saved me $500. Other bodyshops that I went, they never offered me this option and asked me to replace good part as well. In addition to that I didn't have to take the appointments for the quote, like I had to for the other places. They gave me quote promptly and squeezed the repair in their schedule as soon as the part arrived. I would definitely recommend this body shop to my friends and family.
Lorri and her team were amazing. This was my first time dealing with collision repairs and an insurance claim after someone damaged my rear bumper, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. They took the time to answer my questions, explain the process, and made everything feel much less stressful. Lorri was calm, kind, and incredibly easy to communicate with from start to finish. Her customer service really stood out and made a difficult situation so much easier to navigate. Highly recommend for quality repairs and excellent customer service.
I can't say enough good things about L-M Body Shop. I brought my brand-new Lexus in for a scratch, and Lorri took the time to try the least invasive solution before recommending a repair. The result exceeded my expectations, and I truly appreciated the honesty and care. It's refreshing to find a shop that genuinely looks out for its customers. Thank you again, Lorri!
Yes. We mix to the factory paint code, test spray, compare under daylight-balanced light and blend the color into adjacent panels so there is no visible transition.
A spot repair or single panel is usually two to four days including cure time. Multi-panel and full repaints take longer, and we give you the schedule with the estimate.
If it has gone through to bare metal, yes, before the Pacific Northwest rain turns it into rust. If it is only in the clear coat we may be able to polish it, and we will tell you so.
