Serving Sammamish from Totem Lake, Kirkland
The Sammamish Plateau has very few collision repair shops of its own, so plateau families regularly make the twenty-minute drive down to L-M Body Shop in Kirkland for honest, family-owned repair. A key scratch, a scraped bumper or a hood full of rock chips does not need an insurance claim or a week in the shop. L-M Body Shop does auto body and paint work for Sammamish drivers with a free written estimate and computer-matched color.

228th Avenue, East Lake Sammamish Parkway and Sahalee Way are the collision corridors, and the long, wet winter commutes down to SR-520 and I-90 bring the rear-end bumps. Deer are common along the plateau's wooded edges. Family SUVs, Teslas and three-row crossovers are the plateau norm, with plenty of newer vehicles under lease that need repairs done right before turn-in.
About Auto Paint
Auto body and paint work at L-M Body Shop covers scratches, chips, scuffed and cracked bumpers, dented panels and full refinishing. Damage is repaired properly first, then color is mixed to your factory code, test sprayed, blended into the adjacent panels and clear-coated in our paint booth so the repair disappears. We read your paint code, spray a test card, compare it to the car under daylight-balanced light and adjust until it matches. Pearls, metallics and tri-coats take more steps, and we take them. Then the new color is blended outward so there is no hard edge.
Every refinished car is inspected under daylight-balanced light, washed and vacuumed before pickup, and we touch up small future scratches at no additional cost to you.
Our auto body and paint work customers come from Pine Lake, Beaver Lake, Klahanie, Sahalee, Inglewood Hill and the rest of the Sammamish Plateau. Sammamish is twenty to twenty-five minutes to our shop via SR-520 and I-405 or through Redmond on Willows Road.
Call (425) 821-8074 or stop by the shop. We will tell you honestly whether a touch-up, a spot repair or a full panel refinish is the right call.

After a collision the first call is usually to the insurance company, and the adjuster may steer you toward a "preferred" or "network" shop. In Washington the choice of repair shop is yours. Your insurer cannot require you to use a particular shop, and it still has to pay for a proper repair at the shop you pick.

Great service and great people. I had passenger side door's panel came off due to a little accident. I reached out to multiple body shop but LM body shop struck great impression in my mind. In the first interaction I knew that they're genuine and not trying to scam you. One of the part from the panel seems to be reusable and advised me to buy part by myself, so I can return if they don't ended up using it while repairing. And they didn't use it and saved me $500. Other bodyshops that I went, they never offered me this option and asked me to replace good part as well. In addition to that I didn't have to take the appointments for the quote, like I had to for the other places. They gave me quote promptly and squeezed the repair in their schedule as soon as the part arrived. I would definitely recommend this body shop to my friends and family.
Lorri and her team were amazing. This was my first time dealing with collision repairs and an insurance claim after someone damaged my rear bumper, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. They took the time to answer my questions, explain the process, and made everything feel much less stressful. Lorri was calm, kind, and incredibly easy to communicate with from start to finish. Her customer service really stood out and made a difficult situation so much easier to navigate. Highly recommend for quality repairs and excellent customer service.
I can't say enough good things about L-M Body Shop. I brought my brand-new Lexus in for a scratch, and Lorri took the time to try the least invasive solution before recommending a repair. The result exceeded my expectations, and I truly appreciated the honesty and care. It's refreshing to find a shop that genuinely looks out for its customers. Thank you again, Lorri!
Yes. We mix to the factory paint code, test spray, compare under daylight-balanced light and blend the color into adjacent panels so there is no visible transition.
A spot repair or single panel is usually two to four days including cure time. Multi-panel and full repaints take longer, and we give you the schedule with the estimate.
If it has gone through to bare metal, yes, before the Pacific Northwest rain turns it into rust. If it is only in the clear coat we may be able to polish it, and we will tell you so.
