You know it’s November in Kirkland when everybody starts driving like the turkey’s about to run off the table. One second you’re sipping a pumpkin spice latte, feeling festive. The next, you’re in a parking lot showdown with someone whose reverse lights have been on for a full minute—and you just know they’re not checking their mirrors.

And let’s talk about holiday traffic. Lord have mercy. It’s like every single person in town got an alert that cranberry sauce was 10% off, and now they’re all racing to the same store, at the same time, with no spatial awareness and no chill. And don’t even get me started on Black Friday drivers—half of them are still running on pie and panic.

All this to say: if your car doesn’t already have a dent or scratch, congratulations. You are blessed and highly favored. But for the rest of us? It’s time to talk about collision repair, dent removal, and paint restoration before your car becomes part of the family holiday decorations.

Enter: L-M Body Shop — Kirkland’s trusted auto repair pros since 1987. We’re here to save your sanity and your car before the holidays really go off the rails.

🦃 The Thanksgiving Season: A Perfect Storm of Chaos and Car Trouble

Let’s be honest—November is that time of year when everything is just... a lot. You’ve got family coming into town, long grocery store runs, work deadlines, school projects, and apparently, every deer in Washington State deciding now is the time to explore suburban intersections.

And somehow in the middle of all this, your car ends up looking like it got rear-ended by a gravy boat.

Here’s what your car’s up against this month:

  • Holiday parking lots: It’s every person for themselves out there. Shopping carts flying, drivers circling like vultures, and BOOM—door ding.

  • Pre-winter weather: That light drizzle? It’s hiding the pothole that just reintroduced itself to your front bumper.

  • Dark evenings: Daylight Saving Time means people are out here driving like they forgot how headlights work.

  • Turkey trots & charity 5Ks: Great causes, but terrible for traffic. One wrong turn and your car ends up “lightly tapped” by a stroller.

It’s not you. It’s November. But don’t let a busted bumper or mystery dent ruin your holiday vibes.

🛠️ Kirkland Collision Repairs You Can Count On

At L-M Body Shop, we’ve seen what the holidays can do to a vehicle. We’ve repaired everything from parking lot dings to full-on “I tried to beat the rush but the rush beat me” damage.

Here’s what we specialize in:

✅ Dent Repairs

Small ding? Big dent? Doesn’t matter—we’ll remove it like it never happened. Our paintless dent repair options are fast, affordable, and don’t require a full repaint unless you want one.

✅ Paint Scratch Repair

Scratches don’t just look bad—they invite rust. And trust us, rust doesn’t take holidays off. Our color-matched paint technology will restore your vehicle’s finish, seamlessly.

✅ Collision Repair & Fender Work

We handle major and minor collision damage—from twisted metal to popped-off panels. Your fender benders get unfender-bended, professionally.

✅ Frame & Unibody Repair

Think of your car’s frame like its skeleton. A little misalignment can mean a lot of future problems. We’ve got the tech to check it out and the skills to fix it right.

✅ Paint Restoration & Curb Appeal Fixes

Planning to drive to Thanksgiving dinner in a car that looks tired? No, ma’am. We’ll buff, polish, and restore that finish until it shines brighter than your cousin’s “homemade” pie (that came from Costco).

😩 Why You Shouldn’t Wait Until December

I know what you’re thinking:

“I’ll get it fixed after the holidays.”

No. Just—no. That’s how minor dents turn into major regret.

Here’s why you should fix it now:

  • Insurance deductibles reset in January — get your repairs handled before you end up paying more in 2026.

  • Holiday traffic only gets worse — December brings snow, ice, and stressed-out gift shoppers. Beat the madness.

  • Used car values are peaking — if you’re trading in soon, get that scratch fixed and boost your value.

  • Family judgment is real — You know Aunt Linda’s gonna say something passive-aggressive about your car. Don’t give her the satisfaction.

Fixing your car now isn’t just about vanity—it’s about protecting your investment, keeping your car safe, and preserving your peace of mind before the most chaotic season of the year hits full speed.

Great service and great people. I had passenger side door's panel came off due to a little accident. I reached out to multiple body shop but LM body shop struck great impression in my mind. In the first interaction I knew that they're genuine and not trying to scam you. One of the part from the panel seems to be reusable and advised me to buy part by myself, so I can return if they don't ended up using it while repairing. And they didn't use it and saved me $500. Other bodyshops that I went, they never offered me this option and asked me to replace good part as well. In addition to that I didn't have to take the appointments for the quote, like I had to for the other places. They gave me quote promptly and squeezed the repair in their schedule as soon as the part arrived. I would definitely recommend this body shop to my friends and family.

Lorri and her team were amazing. This was my first time dealing with collision repairs and an insurance claim after someone damaged my rear bumper, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. They took the time to answer my questions, explain the process, and made everything feel much less stressful. Lorri was calm, kind, and incredibly easy to communicate with from start to finish. Her customer service really stood out and made a difficult situation so much easier to navigate. Highly recommend for quality repairs and excellent customer service.

I can't say enough good things about L-M Body Shop. I brought my brand-new Lexus in for a scratch, and Lorri took the time to try the least invasive solution before recommending a repair. The result exceeded my expectations, and I truly appreciated the honesty and care. It's refreshing to find a shop that genuinely looks out for its customers. Thank you again, Lorri!
